On average, consumers spend $13.6 billion per year on cosmetics, according to research firm Euromonitor International.
However, the company also revealed that more than one-third of Americans don’t buy any cosmetics at all.
So what does the research company mean by “one-third?”
To be more precise, it means that one-half of American consumers don’t wear makeup at all, and one-fifth of American shoppers say they don’t use makeup.
So what does this mean for beauty brands?
For starters, brands are trying to position themselves to be more affordable and less difficult to find.
For example, Beauty Insider’s new $50 gift card offer, which is only available through June 29, will now include 10 percent off the regular price of $59.
That means you can get $50 off the entire purchase.
Additionally, the brand is also offering up a $10 gift card with the purchase of a $50-plus product.
As for makeup, many of the brands are pushing out new products, but they’re also pushing to appeal to more of their consumers by offering products that are less costly and easier to find, according the brand.
That includes highlighting skincare and skincandise, as well as hair care products.
This will allow consumers to try products they wouldn’t normally try, such as a $30 hair gel that’s cheaper than an $80 salon shampoo.
The brand is offering this product at $39.95, and you can also purchase it on its own or in conjunction with a $5 beauty package.
And now, for some of the biggest beauty brands in the world, you can buy the products for free.
In fact, there are over 100 beauty brands that offer the products, including Nordstrom, L’Oreal, Clinique, MAC, Bobbi Brown, and Revlon.
So, there’s a pretty wide range of beauty brands to choose from right now.
